A creator-led Australian community supporting legitimate AI-assisted art, transparent creative practice, collaboration, education and a stronger public voice for artists using emerging tools.
Our mission
Build a credible national community for Australian AI-assisted artists; help members improve, collaborate and be heard; promote responsible creative practice; and represent the legitimate use of AI in music, video, visual art, writing, games and mixed media.
Why now
Australian debates about AI, copyright and culture are accelerating. Traditional arts bodies and large technology companies already have organised voices. Artists who actively use AI need a credible place to speak, collaborate and set standards of our own.
What we support
We support meaningful human creative direction, experimentation, transparent AI use, licensed assets, consent, attribution, collaboration and artists taking responsibility for what they publish.
What we reject
We reject plagiarism, deceptive cloning or impersonation, unlicensed copying, false claims about human performances and the endless dumping of uncurated low-effort output.
What the site does
The platform provides public creator profiles, reviewed member works, current news and commentary, a private member hub, collaboration tools, movement tasks, announcements and a practical certification process.
Independent and developing
Aussie AI Artists is an independent community initiative. It is not a government agency, copyright registry or legal authority. Its standards and structures will develop with its founding members.
